you hold me now
we take a moment
catching breath
and selves
while life reloads
and we
we cling to rocks
each other
letting pass the moment
of relief
not joy though
knowing just ahead
are gales and doors
and ends all made the same
so we
resolve to hold
hold tight and fast
and hope the worst
are hopes left
unfulfilled
