SCRAWL is an active community, kept vital by its participants. If you want to be a member,
you're going to have to put some words on the screen. It's fine to lurk and read awhile, but
to ensure your continued membership you'll need to post at least every three months. You can
review a story or a poem, take part in a writing challenge, share a market you've found, or
just join in any conversational thread.
Although we look forward to reading your work, we want you to read ours, too. We'd like you
to post three critiques in the Workshop forums before you start posting your own material for
comments. If you're nervous about critiquing, read some workshop threads and/or ask around
for ideas on how to do it. Generally, members are appreciative of any honest feedback on their
writing, so relax, dive in, and learn as you go.
